Beyond Patong

Thank you for going above and beyond to make my stay a fantastic one with my partner. You offered internet when we had to book our flights when they were cancelled. I really appreciate the hospitality. Excellent service, extremely clean rooms and very modern, massive shower head that falls from the roof. The beds are ultra comfortable and they use bottled water in glass. Fantastic. In a quiet location close to the action but I would say it's in a very classy area.

The place is a cozy, 4 star quality, budget friendly hotel, right in front of the Patong beach. The stone-throw distance from the most popular beach in Phuket is the main attraction point of the hotel. Here is a detailed review of the place. Decor - The hotel is marine themed with blue decor and well lit interiors. The open air central lobby area could be a bit more well lit at night but the lighting was satisfactory. Amenities - A fully functional gym, a rooftop infinity pool with bar, activity centre and a restaurant, this hotel has it all. Rest of the points mentioned separately. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you are looking to get a luxurious and vibrant experience without straining your pocket a lot.

Staff are very switched on and excellent service. They offered me another night as I had stayed a few nights and gave me a good deal. The place is super clean and very modern. Bed is super comfortable and huge rooms with dark curtains and allows you to sleep very well. Food court downstairs so you don't even have to get far if you want a quick feed.

This budget hotel up a back alley is terrifying when you arrive at night. I would recommend bringing your own sheets to use if you book this hotel. The rooms are tidy & look classy, but there were faint stains on the bed and pillow cases, curtains and headboard was dirty. For a budget hotel it's pretty cool and unique. It's certainly old and needs some repairs, but it's pretty nice compared to how the locals live here. It gets the job done safely & fashionably-ish. I like that it has a full kitchen, porch & pool. The kitchen comes fully furnished & all you need to do is get food. DO NOT DRINK THE TAP WATER it is not safe, but that's all of Thailand not just this hotel.

Let’s start with the check in, check in was easy and smooth very friendly and welcoming staff in general, despite some have very low level in English which makes it a bit hard to communicate. ROOM, room was exactly how it looked like in the picture while booking, very clean and well designed, the bed was SO comfortable. SWIMMING POOL, one is functioning the second one is out of order, the bar at the pool you can hardly recognize. Speaking about the roof top is in general in a bad condition. GYM, gym is very poor, almost no equipment to work out which is sad, with that space they could do better. BREAKFAST, not my favorite I have had better. LOCATION, the location is actually the best thing about this hotel.

I stayed in 3 different hotels over 3.5 weeks, we decided to go with Beyond as a treat for the last 1.5 weeks. What a mistake! There is a YouTube review by a British guy I recommend watching before booking, I wish I had. The pool shots where you can sit in seats in the pool overlooking the water is completely false advertising, that area is locked off and judging by other reviews it has been for a long time. Walking to the pool is an area that used to be a bar, its now a wasteland of peeling paint and storage for rusted old fridges. The pool is small, not enough umbrella's for shade and people are smoking wherever they like. There is rarely staff at the swim up bar, no music and no atmosphere...which was supplied at the far cheaper hotels. The rooms had a damp smell, mine was particularly bad and hit you like a brick when you walked in. The air-conditioning would alter itself to 29 degs without being touched and the shower and toilet are in the room, not separate, so be sure you know your travel buddy well! Unless you have a balcony room you have a small round window which looks straight into the room opposite and offers no natural light. Below is a small food market which includes a bar that plays music that can be heard in the rooms, the latest was 2am so no good if you want to get any sleep or have small children. The reception staff were not friendly or helpful and spoke very little English. The cleaning staff were the nicest people there. All up we would not stay again in this tired, loud old hotel and do not believe the photos they provide. There is better out there for the price.
